The FoxESS App now integrates with EskomSePush (ESP), South Africa’s most trusted load-shedding notification platform. This integration lets your Fox system automatically prepare for power outages by charging your battery in advance — so you stay powered even when the grid goes down.

How It Works

With ESP integration enabled:

The Fox ESS App receives real-time load-shedding schedules directly from ESP.

Your inverter can automatically switch modes when an outage is predicted, for example:

  • Force charge your battery from solar or grid before the outage.
  • Reserve a minimum State of Charge (SoC) so you have enough energy for essential loads.

When the outage ends, the system returns to your normal operating mode automatically.
